My husband Joel and I have always been passionate about the outdoors and exploring the world through hiking in the most incredible national parks. Our journey to use less single-use plastic began when our first child Nikko was born. We became more conscious of how much plastic we were throwing away and were shocked to learn that less than 6% of plastic in the U.S. was actually being recycled.
We realized that recycling would never be a sustainable solution to reducing plastic waste. The only way to untrash our planet and build a better future for our kids and future generations would be through reusing and refilling. We tried some reusable household products, but we couldn’t find anything that had planet-friendly ingredients, no artificial fragrances and was zero plastic waste. From there, Greatfill was born.
Our mission is to eliminate single-use plastic by making refilling convenient, affordable and fun.
